Buffalo, N.Y. June 6, 2023 – CPESN NY LLC (CPESN NY), an independent practice association, announces an additional seven member pharmacies' diabetes education programs that have received accreditation through the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES). This brings the total to 28 pharmacies within the network that have received this prestigious accreditation. These newly accredited pharmacies include Family Pharmacy Plus (Lockport, NY), Felicity Pharmacy (Bronx, NY), Grand Care Pharmacy (Maspeth, NY), Neergaard Pharmacy (Brooklyn, NY), Pine Plains Pharmacy (Pine Plains, NY), Super Health Pharmacy (Staten Island, NY) and Taconic Pharmacy (Jefferson Valley, NY).

In a short time frame, our diabetes programs have helped remove access barriers for patients needing these important services in socially vulnerable urban and rural communities statewide. Patients are providing positive feedback and reporting that there has been an improvement in both their diabetes knowledge and care. These pharmacies can also offer a host of additional value-added services that include but are not limited to vaccinations, wound care, medication adherence and monitoring, and access to vital diabetes supplies. As these programs continue to grow, the focus will be to reduce the overall disease burden and healthcare costs associated with diabetes.
